# Protect the surfaces you use every morning

A small bathroom feels crowded when every flat surface becomes storage. Begin with the sink and leave only the items used twice a day. Group them on one washable tray so the counter can be wiped in a single motion.

## Use the door and walls

An over-door rack can hold spare towels or a robe without taking floor space. Adhesive hooks work for lightweight tools when the wall surface allows them. A narrow shelf above the toilet can hold closed containers, but keep it shallow enough that no one bumps it.

## Divide the vanity

Use small bins by routine rather than product type: morning skin care, dental care, hair tools, and first aid. This makes it possible to pull out one group and return it intact. Install a tension rod inside the cabinet for spray bottles only if plumbing clearance remains comfortable.

## Limit backups

Choose one backup per essential item. Store unopened products together and check that zone before shopping. Travel-size samples should fit in one pouch; when it is full, use or donate something before adding more.

## Make cleaning supplies easy to grab

Keep a cloth and one appropriate cleaner close enough for a thirty-second wipe. Avoid mixing cleaning products, and follow every product label.

These moves work because they separate daily access from reserve storage. Clear counters are not the result of owning nothing. They come from giving frequent items a small, reachable home and keeping duplicates under control.
